The design was created by Coco at Project Ability — an organization that creates opportunities through inclusive art for all. They provide the space and expertise to allow artists to express themselves, build confidence and achieve their potential. Coco talks of her inspiration behind the design, “I was inspired by Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe’s portfolio … one of Hollywood’s sweethearts”.

Leaving the world Lusher than we found it
Nepalese handmade paper is made from the fibrous inner bark of the evergreen shrub, Daphne Bhopal, also known as lokta bushes. They are cut a few cm from ground level, allowing the plant to regrow from the radial root. The plants regenerate and can then be re-harvested after three to seven years depending on altitude and growing conditions. Bastipur, close to the Indian border, has the perfect dry conditions required for the paper-making process and the unit there was set up to create employment and support empowerment of women in the area. Pass forward, reuse or recycle for a lush environment.
